Tricks for Cooperative Mastiff Care This 6-week online class teaches Mastiffs how to calmly participate in their own care—nail trims, ear cleaning, brushing, and vet exams—using small, achievable steps and consent-based, positive training. The goal is safer handling, less stress, and better communication for both dogs and humans. Class format -Starts February 15, 2026 -Online & self-paced - New training videos released weekly -Private class group - Personalized feedback included Instructor: Sassafras Patterdale Sassafras is a highly experienced, Fear Free Certified professional dog trainer and instructor with over 25 years in dog sports and education, specializing in helping dogs and people communicate better and making training more accessible and enjoyable. Designed with giant breeds and Mastiffs in mind (all breeds welcome). No titles required. Optional submission toward the Cooperative Care Certificate – Level 1 (10 points toward MCOA Working Dog Program, Category 4).
