Member Education

The MCOA Members’ Education Program aims to provide MCOA members with a comprehensive education program at the National Specialty, Regional Specialties, and Regional Mastiff Club Supported Entries.

“The Mastiff Standard; a Breeder’s Perspective” program utilizes the same materials and MCOA-approved presenters as the MCOA Judges Education Program to present an in-depth study of correct structure and movement and an intensive review of the Mastiff breed standard.

The program is offered at odd-year National Specialties and selected Regional events. Other Members' Education seminars available during the National Specialty include Mastiff handling clinics (beginner and advanced levels), reproduction (presented by canine reproduction veterinary specialists, and other topics of interest to the serious Mastiff fancier.

All Members’ Education seminars are free to MCOA members and associate members.  Attendance at some seminars is restricted to MCOA members only. However, in a few cases, non-members may attend for a fee. Check the Premium List for dates, times, and fees.
